This is a nice clean tanged, flat bottom, flared sided, carving chisel, marked "ROBT SORBY SHEFFIELD". It's in good condition, sharp, but could use some sharpening before use, (the V point is in need of some fine tuning). The handle is solid, nice steel furrule, no cracks, an owner's name neatly stamp on it. A good used .6" wide (flarring back at about 1 degree per side) x 7" long carving chisel, by a well know English maker!
