This is a quality made, brass (half) bound, 2 foot, 4 fold, boxwood rule in very good condition. Marked "STANLEY RULE & LEVEL CO. NEW BRITAIN CONN. WARRENTED BOXWOOD NO. 84". It has 2 of the 3 original alignment pins in place, no warping noted that the missing alignment pin would have prevented, a good straight rule, no minor warping. We note some missing brass at the 23.5 inch point shown in the photo.  The missing material would only effect measurement use at that location on the rule. A few small scratches and dings noted, good lettering, no cracks, less than average wear. A clean hard to find rule from the early 1900s.
