This is a nice clean vintage Stanley block plane dating back to the 1960's. It is clean with about 95% of it's original blue paint on the bed, and black paint on the cap cover intact. This one is marked "STANLEY MADE IN U.S.A." on the cutter and cutter adjustment knob.  The front knob is black painted hardwood, solid no cracks. The cutter is sharp, nice clean iron, with lots of stock left for future sharpening. In very good working order! A very clean, 7" long x 1.62" cutter width block plane, ready to work condition! The bare metal surfaces are clean, no rust, with only very minor discoloration, flat on the bottom of the sole. The blue paint was only used on these Stanley block plane from 1960-1970, and rather rare.  I doubt this plane was used more than once, about 99% like new.
