Offering this lathe turned Black Walnut front knob that will fit the cast threaded stem of the Stanley No. 110 and No. 220 block planes.  The knob has been turned and lightly sanded in the lathe but has no stain or varnish on it.  We will leave that to you if you wish.  We note that as we tested the thread on various planes we have in our inventory we found that some have a much thicker Japanning/paint on them than others, this makes this knob a bit tight going onto the threaded stem.  We recommend using paste wax on the stem to lessen the resistance if need be. The photos show a the knob mounted on a No. 220 block plane that is not included in this offering.
