This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features "The Lincoln Group, Chicago World's Fair". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Replicas of numerous buildings associated with the life of Abraham Lincoln including his boyhood home at Hodgenville, Kentucky. The wigwam, where he was nominated for president, the site of which was Lake Street at Wacker Drive, Chicago-a bronze tablet marks the site; also the Ratledge Tavern near Salem, Illinois, as well as the general store conducted at Salem by Lincoln and William F. Berry" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
