This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in good condition with numerous creases in the corners and slightly worn corners and the front features the "Thompson's Restaurants On The Avenue Of Flags". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Behind the two magnificent restaurants pictured here lies a history of accomplishment proudly paralleling (A Century Of Progress). John R. Thompson established his first restaurant in 1891. Today, 43 years later, the company bearing his name owns & operates 116 Pure Food Restaurants serving more than a million meals a week in 36 principal American cities" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2".
