Vintage circa 1940s–1950s reproduction of C. M. Coolidge's “His Station and Four Aces,” one of his famous anthropomorphic dog card-playing scenes. The humorous image depicts a poker game aboard a train, interrupted just as one unfortunate passenger is holding four aces. The title “His Station and Four Aces” appears beneath the image, with Coolidge's facsimile signature at lower right. Professionally presented with a white mat in a substantial brown wood frame and protected by non-glare acrylic, making it ready to hang. The back retains the older Picture Perfect professional framing label, paper backing and hanging wire. The publisher information at the bottom of the print is concealed beneath the mat and cannot be examined without opening the professionally backed frame. Artist: C. M.
