Vintage Peacock Blue carnival glass iced tea set, attributed to Indiana Glass, consisting of a large pitcher and seven matching footed goblets. The rich Peacock Blue glass has the characteristic iridescent surface that changes dramatically with lighting and viewing angle. Depending on the light, the finish can show blue, aqua, purple, pink and gold highlights. The set includes: 1 pitcher – approximately 10" tall 7 footed goblets – approximately 5-1/4" tall and holding 14 oz. each The glass is substantial and heavy, giving the pieces a particularly impressive presence. Condition: Excellent overall vintage condition. The only damage found is one vertical hairline scratch in the finish of the pitcher. There are no chips or cracks, and the seven goblets are in excellent condition. Please see the photographs, including the close-up of the scratch. The original set likely contained eight goblets; this set has seven. It is being sold exactly as shown.
