This is a classic vintage Lufkin 'Red End' X46 wooden folding ruler, an essential measuring tool historically used by carpenters and craftspeople. Constructed from durable wooden sections with brass spring-joint hinges and brass end caps, it features clear black inch markings along with distinctive red accents and model branding. The ruler shows authentic vintage wear, including a warm darkened patina on the wood finish, minor paint wear, and age marks consistent with history as an active workshop tool. All hinged sections open and close, making it a great piece for tool collectors, vintage display, or continued use.
