This is a vintage Mexican sterling silver brooch of an atelope or eland. It is simply marked MEXICO SILVER which is a very early mark and I do not know who made it. The brooch has a C clasp. The brooch measures 1-3/4 inches by 3/4 of an inch and weighs 5.1 grams. The brooch is in very good condition but does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing.
