Vintage Umbrella New York Umbrella Co. Horn Derby Handle is made of Black bakelite and horn and has a gold plated spacer and a black rope tassle. The handle is actually approximately 2 3/4 inches across. Made in 3 sections. The top of handle, above the gold plated spacers and tassel, appears made in three sections being the upper and lower sections are a lighter grained black shade, while the center is a dark ebony shade. Black snap closure. Best guess brass painted folding closure, but also could be gold plated. Over all length 30 1/2 inch. Tagged 100 percent Nylon, New York Umbrella Company. No stains no tears as pictured. A must have.
