Royal Worcester blue floral Covered Butter. Vitreous. England. c. 1890. Unusual covered butter dish. Asian influenced blue transfer floral pattern on the plate border, the sides of the attached bowl & on the sides of the lid. The lid has bird feet handle with hand painted detailing. Made of vitreous porcelain (stoneware). Could also be used as a covered side dish. CONDITION: Excellent / Near Mint. A very handsome piece.
