Antique Tiles

Manufacturer: Ceramica Santa Ana
This extremely nice tile panel was hand painted by Vicente Flores Navarro, at the Ceramica Santa Ana, which was founded in the Triana district of Sevilla in 1939. The tile blanks are from the firm of Mensaque Rodriguez (Spain). Three tiles make up this scene of a man and woman on horseback, with stables or a fair in the background. The tiles measure 10 7/8" x 5 1/2" by just under 1/2" thick. In excellent condition. I believe this is circa 1940's. (#T-1930)

This tile panel, and the other one I have in stock from this artist and company are unusual as the majority of works produced were usually religious retablos and Bible scenes.
