This is a vintage Mexican 980 silver, turquoise and abalone set consisting of a necklace, bracelet and screw back earrings. The set is signed DH, TAXCO, MEXICO and 980. This means that the silver content is higher than sterling silver. The set has inlaid turquoise and abalone in all three pieces. The pieces remind me of waves. The necklace measures 16-1/2 inches long and 5/8 of an inch wide. The bracelet measures 7 inches long and 5/8 of an inch wide. The screw back earrings measure 1-1/2 inches long. If the link and the clasp on the bracelet were exchanged, the bracelet could be connected to the necklace to make it longer. I believe this could easily be done by a jeweler. The set is in very good condition with no missing turquoise or abalone. It does have an age patina and may need cleaning or polishing. This is a beautiful set and my pictures do not do it justice.
