This is a very clean early bicycle wrench marked "BILLINGS & SPENCER CO. HARTFORD, CONN. C.E. BILLINGS PAT'D FEB. 18TH 1879". in nice crisp condition, clear lettering. It has an 1/32nd inch scale on the inside bar showing the size it's opened to. The wrench has no rust, no damage, and little sign of use, some wear on the jaw edges. One of the few I've had in the 4" size with totally parellel jaws. This one still has about 30% of the original nickel plating on it!
