This is a very nice, clean old hardwood handled patented Phillips screwdriver with a 3/8" diameter tip x 14" long overall, for the larger size screws. It is marked "PHILLIPS - LIC 7 PAT. NO. 2046887 - MADE IN U.S.A. CARBON". The steel furrule on the handle area is also marked by the maker "BRIDGEPORT 354 U.S.A.". The handle is very nice and solid, well attached to the blade and has a good steel ferrule also. The finish on the handle is a rosewood stain with lacquer over it, and about 50% of the lacquer remains. No rust or damage, minimal wear. We see so few of these original Phillips screwdrivers these days!
