This is a nice clean 4" long, rare firm-joint inside calipers with integral spring type fine adjustment. This is a No. 832 listed in a 1924 catalog, but not numbered on the tool itself. It is marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROVIDENCE U.S.A. LBS 832". The caliper works perfectly, no damage noted, some darkening on the steel. A nice machinist tool overall!
