This is a very nice 9-10 inch outside micrometer marked "BROWN & SHARPE MFG. CO. PROV. RI. U.S.A." on the satin chrome thimble. This one has the carbide tip feature, and textured paint on the frame, brake, and ratchet stop feature. The ratchet stop seems to be turning too freely, perhaps a missing spring? Otherwise this tool is in very good condition with some numbers and letters electo-etched on it, and a old inspection sticker. Increments are in .001". Over 90% chrome and paint intact. Inspected and ready to use. A nice clean hard to find size!
