This is a pair of an antique Victorian or Edwardian brown wool shoe spats. The spats are marked 3 97469 on the inside of both spats. There are 10 brown buttons down the side of each spat. There is a silver buckle attached to a wool and leather strap on the bottom of each spat. The spats measure 9 inches long without including the strap. They are 7 inches at the widest portion. The spats are in good condition with no missing buttons. There are a couple of tiny spots which could be moth bites. The spats have not been cleaned. Please let me know if you have any questions.
