This is a nice, outside wing caliper that is marked "BEMIS ....", a past owner put his intials over the rest of the name. It measures 10.5" long overall and has a very nice snug pivot joint, and lock thumb screw. There is a fine adjustment feature on this model, works fine. It features nice flatten legs, and squared off tips. A really nice looking tool from the late 1800's era, perhaps a bit earlier.
