This is a nice clean, quality made 7" size toolmakers' inside caliper, marked "B & S PROV. R.I. U.S.A. 802" on one side. It has been modified on the end tips for a special application, and in fact could be used for both inside and outside measurement, depending on the application. As you can see in the pictures, the tips are oval shaped on the end, extending beyond the leg on both inside on outside areas of the legs. In very good condition, no owner's names, no rust, very good shape overall!
