This is a nice, lightly used carbon steel burring/tapered reamer with spiral ground flutes, (1/4-1.5" size). This type has the tapered square end to fit in a standard two jaw hand brace chuck. Marked CRAFTSMAN 5523 USA on the square end. Quality tooling by a well known retail company! Basically in very good condition, minor wear, no damage, no rust, sharp with a few minor rubs, good condition. We do note that the tapered square shape does have some sort of notch near the center.  We are not sure of the purpose, but it appears to be this way from the factory.
