Offering this handsome book titled The Poetic and Dramatic Works of Lord Tennyson, published by Houghton Mifflin and Co, Boston, copyright date is 1898, no publish date but most likely early 1900's. Red pebbled cloth semi-hardboards with gold gilt writing on front and spine. Very slight edge wear - just enough to add character, no spine cracks or stains. Page edges on top have gold gilt. Pages are clean and tight, no stains, scribbles, or tears, double column print, the only page that has a mark is pg 170 ( see photo). Spine is secure. There is a gift inscription on first blank page and a loving note on back of title page. A wonderful old book filled with hours of enjoyable reading!
