This is a super nice, larger base universal surface gauge, The base is 2.5 x 3.25", comes with a very good original scriber in 98% like new condition overall. The surface gauge is marked "THE LUFKIN RULE CO. SAGINAW MICH. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 520", on the base. Overall working condition is very good, the fine adjustment screw is very slightly bent at the top of where the knurl is (doesn't effect use just appearance).  It has a slightly darkened finish but no rust and it has been cleaned and oiled, ready for precision service.
