Lottery, this is one of the earlier ones. These coins are not legal tender. They are made from an aluminum alloy, making them both light and easily scratched, but also very much like shiny silver! The coin features the representation of the Old Man of the Mountain as well as the words, Old Man of the Mountain, on the front of the coin. There is also a symbol, but I am not familiar with it. On the reverse New Hampshire Lottery logo Reads Lottery The Granite States, New Hampshire Sweepstakes Commission. May 3, 2003, the Old Man of the Mountain collapsed. Experts said that over centuries of freezing and thawing, the rocks gave way. Has some scratches but not the dark grey tarnish showing in picture, that is a flash glare and combination poor lighting.
