This is a nice clean 3.25 inch long pocket level with the ornate brass top plate that has no maker's markings. The level glass tube has fluid in it, but is not at the needed level to accurately see in the sight window.  The tube is replaceable.  The level is in nice shape otherwise, very clean, no rust. The level can be used on any flat surface, but was also designed to be attached to your steel square blade with the provided screw on the side. The set screw is there to fasten it to your steel square blade, and is in good working order. This one was originally Japanned in a black finish, about 20% of the Japanning remains. A real nice level overall!
