This a nice clean wing divider 8" long overall. It's in good condition with a good snug brass and steel pivot joint, and good original hardware including the fine adjustment nut. It's marked RUSSELL BROS. NEW YORK" near the pivot joint on the main beam. There is no rust, very minor pitting and darkened color to the steel surface, strong spring, good sharp points. A very nice layout tool!  RUSSELL BROS. NEW YORK is a brand we have not seen very often though they made several different tools including edge tools like chisels.
