This is a nice clean, quality made in U.S.A. interchangeable anvil micrometer set, capacity of 6-9". This is a good used set marked "SCHERR TUMICO 6-9" ST. JAMES MINN. U.S.A." on the micrometer, and "SCHERR TUMICO" on the box exterior, top. The set is complete except for the calibration wrench, and has been calibrated recently. The micrometer feature satin chrome plating, ratchet fine adjustment, and a spindle brake, .001" graduations. The textured paint is about 98% intact, looks very good, no rust, no wear noted other than the paint. The wood case is in solid condition with some scratches and some letters scratched on it, but overall it's in very good serviceable shape. These sets cost over $350 list price new. Buy used and save!
