Description

This is a nice, extra long extension screwdriver featuring the flex shaft, all metal construction. The tip end and the handle turn seperate from the outer steel flex sheathing, with knurled fittings at both ends, all steel, and the knurled handle is aluminum alloy, pinned to the internal drive shaft, works great! It is in very good working order, no rust or damage very good slot tip, like new. This screwdriver is 26" long overall, with a 4.5" long handle. The spiral sheath section is 16" long alone, not including the more solid tip ferrule at each end. A nice tool for deep reach screw driving, however the flex shaft will only allow a minimal torque to the screw being driven, so it was most likely designed for screw starting and removal, but not for screw tightening or untightening. We are not sure what the amount of torque max. rating it has, but it would be lower than a solid shaft screwdriver in the same size. Unique vintage screwdriver!
