Still a favorite style test indicator by Starrett by many toolmakers, this is a fine example of a quality machinist tool! It's a .001" increment model in very good working condition with very little wear. The indicator face is marked "STARRETT NO. 711 LAST WORD .001" MADE IN U.S.A.". It's a complete set with various holding attachments as seen in photos. This indicator had very little use, and was well cared for. Was tested, and works great. The padded metal case has some minor wear on the top mostly, the case stays opened or closed by means of a good automatic latch spring hinge.
