This is a very nice, clean, and working precision depth gauge micrometer featuring the non-rotating blade like rods with a 0-6" capacity for gauging.  The base is a 2.5" long base and at the other end is a ratchet fine adjustment feature.  This is a very well cared for micrometer made by a very well known quality toolmaker and so marked on the head "THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A.".  The fitted fabric covered metal case has some wear and discoloration, but overall it is in nice shape with a good spring closure hinge on it.  Overall a few nice set!
