This is a very nice, clean black oxide used drill gauge marked THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. USA  ENGLISH STANDARD WIRE GAUGE NO. 188. It has number markings next to each hole on both side.  It has some very minor staining, very clean overall, no wear noted. An example of markings on the gauge: On the largest hole it actually measure .375 inch and the same hole is marked .300 on one side and 1 on the other side of this round shaped gauge.  The gauge/gage is well cared for, no rust, no damage ready to use.
