Very clean, no spine cracks, fraying, minor staining on inside blank pages, very minor corner and spine edge rubs. Page edges are tipped in blue. Green marbled end papers; hinges are secure, spine is straight. Most text pages are clean and crisp, minor stains on the contents pages, no scribbling, or tears. Book measures 7 1/2 x 5 inches. A handsome informative book, with plenty of pictures of vintage batteries, and about 100 pages of text on theory, design and use of batteries in the late 1920's.
