We all had a discussion on this dress at the estate sale where I bought it. It could be a very fancy lace late 1940s to early 1950s prom dress, but some thought it was a wedding dress with the design in the back and the bows. Could be used for both. I myself think it was a wedding dress because there are snaps on the bodice on the inside where a train could have been attached. This gown is very small, probably a size 4 or smaller. Bust is 36", waist 24", and length is 48". In excellent condition.
