Offering this very good used Lock-Joint Transfer Caliper marked "THE L.S. STARRETT CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A.". It's in good clean useable condition with a good working lock joint. It has minor surface darkening or staining on less than 10% of it's surfaces, and past owner's initials in scribed in one place. This Lock-Joint type is very precise and designed to be able to fine adjust calibration. It features a smooth working fine adjustment, and easy to snug or loosen lock joint so the user can lock the joint close to the size within range, than use the fine adjustment for a good feel of the work. A very nice design! Precision working surfaces, and adjustments in fine shape!
