Vintage King Bear Cookie Jar Holding a Cookiem Marked Japan on bottom. Circa Mid Century 1960s.. Adorable Cold Painted King Bear. Height 11 1/2 inches; Length side to side across 7 1/2 inches; Width front to back 7 1/2 inches. The Red Cold paint has wear, which is normal for cold painted jars. The glaze has crazing. The lid has a few chips on the rim. Lid also has a tiny hairline on the rim that goes inwards on the underside that may be from the making. The bottom has some chips on the rim.
