Vintage Lion Cat Cub Cookie Jar Hand Painted Brazil. This size jar is commonly known as a cracker jar or a biscuit jar. Marked Hand Painted Made in Brazil. Height 8 1/4 inch X Length side to side 5 1/2 inch X width front to back 5 1/2 inch. This is lovely hand painted jar. Notice the eyes, nose and hat brown trim is done in cold paint over the glaze. The yellow hat section and flowers are painted and have glaze over the top. The type of paint called cold paint is in excellent condition being all intact and vibrant. Cold paint washes off easily with cleaners and soaps. Best to wash in cold water, to keep remaining in tact and vibrant. Never soak in water. No Cracks No Crazing. No Chips from damage.
