This Batchelder tile has a central pot or urn filled with three open flowers - thick decorative self framing edge. Done in a matte light reddish tan finish, with a blue engobe in the recesses, this measures 5 3/4" square by 3/4" thick. It is design #36 in the Batchelder Tiles catalog. This de-installed tile has a very good front tile surface, with 1 tiny flake at the upper left corner. Some slight mortar/grout in a couple of the recesses. The back clearly shows the de-installation and some remaining mortar. Circa 1920's. (#1129)
