The original inner Spout is flush not with V as showing here. Also the flat soldier is holding flag, the flag is higher up from wreath, not touching wreath. This is the first reproduction of original and its got bullets down at the bottom. There is a more modern reproduction that has cannon balls around the bottom and mostly seen in clear glass.

This pitcher does not have any chips or cracks and is in excellent condition. Finding in a green color is not as plentiful as clear.

Height 9 inch. Handle to Spout 7 1/2 inch. Bottom foot diameter 4 inch.

During the Spanish War Attack, May 1, 1898, US Navy Captain Grindley waited for the order by Commander Commodore George Dewey to yell Grindley you may fire when ready. He heard that call at 5:40 am.
