Mason's was absorbed by the Wedgwood group; newer pieces have Ltd on them. Watteau pattern. Brown Transferware. Brown backstamp Mason's over crown then banner: Patent Ironstone China, then Watteau England, then 'Guaranteed Permanent Acid Resisting Colour' and #5. No chips or cracks; all over faint crazing. It is 14.25 wide. It is shown next to a dinner plate in one picture just to show you how large it is. A great platter to display!
