Offering this quality set of vintage, like new, sharp, useable taps in their original cardboard box with dividers. The box top is clearly marked "UNION TWIST DRILL CO. BUTTERFIELD DIVISION DERBY LINE VT. U.S.A. 3/8-16 N.C. HAND TAPS", these are HIGH SPEED HAND TAPS SET TAPER PLUG BOTTOMING. The taps are each marked "BUTTERFIELD 3/8-16" each with a different number reflect the type TAPER PLUG or BOTTOMING. These vintage taps are very hard to find quality machinist disposable tools in their original box. The taps are in very good shape, clean and sharp, no damage, and appear to have the original rust ban type coating on them. The box is clean, and solid and has protected the taps since the mid 1900's when they were made, some minor edge wear, and shop dirt noted, solid, one taped corner.
